Former Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has, according to various reports from multiple outlets, agreed terms with Italian Serie A giants AC Milan regarding a move that will see him join the Italian club this summer. The French striker has grown frustrated over a lack of opportunities at Chelsea under manager Thomas Tuchel and has been looking for ways to leave Stamford Bridge since some months ago.
He almost joined Inter Milan last summer but he was blocked from leaving Stamford Bridge and Antonio Conte could not get his preferred striker target in the process. And with Conte parting ways with the Nerazzurri earlier in the week, Giroud has decided to join their Milan rivals instead in what will be a clean swoop for the Rossoneri in the summer. Giroud lost his regular starting role under former manager Frank Lampard and became the third choice behind Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham.
