North London giants Arsenal will have to navigate their way through Liverpool if they want to seal a place in the Carabao Cup final. The Gunners took a step closer to silverware in the competition with the 5-1 thumping of League One giants Sunderland at home on Tuesday night and they have been drawn against Merseyside outfit Liverpool after the last four draw was made on Wednesday night.

Arsenal thereafter took the game away from the Black Cats with three goals in second half. Nketiah made it 3-1 to the Gunners in the 49th minute for his brace before he completed his treble nine minutes later to edge Arsenal 4-1 ahead. 18-year-old Arsenal midfielder Charlie Patino has been earmarked for a big future in the game and he wrapped up the 5-1 win with the fifth Arsenal goal thereby showing the fans a glimpse of his talent.
The Gunners will now face Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-finals after the Reds came from two goals down twice to draw 3-3 at home with Leicester City before winning 5-4 on penalties.
